UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN MINDANAO POSTPONES OPENING OF CLASSES

THE UNIVERSITY of Southern Mindanao postponed the start of classes for the second semester of Academic Year 2021-2022 because of rising Covid19 cases.
The school said classes will be postponed indefinitely. The conduct of limited face-to-face classes was also deferred until further notice.
Students lauded the announcement, saying that they will have additional time to prepare for the new semester.
Cotabato was placed under Alert Level 3 until January 31, 2022.
Region 12 recorded 404 new Covid19 infections, bringing the total active cases to 2,166.
