UNIVERSITY OF CEBU STUDENTS BAG GRAND PRIZE IN NATIONAL TECHTONICS HACKATHON
THREE Mechanical Engineering students from the University of Cebu bagged the top prize in the National Techtonics Hackathon held recently.
The ADL team was composed of Charles Bojos, Adrian Ayam, Joshua Ordesta, and Jakob Kriele, a Physics student from the Universität Regensburg in Germany.
They took home the grand prize of P30,000.
The United Architects of the Philippines Graduate Auxiliary Cebu Chapter hosted the three-day Techtonics Hackathon event where students and professionals in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction sector presented their innovative and revolutionary ideas to a panel of judges and investors.
The teams that made it to the Top 3 were Team Choloy composed of students from USC BSIT, University of San Carlos Architecture and Cebu Technological University BS IT students, Team ADL and Team Servoxy composed of students from USC Architecture, University of San Jose-Recoletos BS Business Management and UC IT.
Team Choloy ranked second while Team Servoxy placed third.
