THE UNIVERSIDAD de Zamboanga has unveiled its own contact tracing application to help keep track of movement in the campus.

Dubbed as “UZ Connect,” the application also shares university announcements and daily health declarations.

Visitors and members of the UZ community can use the app to generate a Quick Response Code for easier contact tracing.

“UZ Connect Mobile Application allows you to be updated and boosts active engagement, real-time experience reciprocation, and a sense of connectedness with the University at your fingertips through its features,” UZ said.

“Keep posted with the institutional announcements and events. Hassle-free and contactless daily health declaration card,” it added.

The application is about 53 megabytes and requires Android 5.0 and up.
