UE-CALOOCAN STUDENTS TO JOIN AYLC LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
THREE students of the University of the East-Caloocan will join selected delegates to the 2021 Ayala Young Leaders Congress, a student leadership summit designed to nurture values-based and principled future Filipino leaders.
Senior Accountancy students Pamela Alviz, Samuel Pimping and Chelsy Mae Santos were among the 84 student leaders selected from various schools nationwide.
UE said the three were selected for their leadership track record, strong positive impact, dedicated involvement in the service of others, their respective organizations, and the community.
“From an initial batch of 655 applicants for the congress, the selection was narrowed down to 167 student leaders, before the final 84 delegates were selected,” the school said.
“All three UE student leaders were part of the first batch of Accountancy and Business Management Strand graduates of the UE Basic Education Department-Caloocan Senior High School from April 13, 2018, with Ms. Alviz and Mr. Pimping graduating with High Honors, and Ms. Santos graduating with Honors,” it added.
The leadership congress will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from June 30 to July 31, 2021 via Zoom.
