THREE senior Business Administration students from the University of Asia and the Pacific secured second place in the prestigious BPI DATA Wave 2024 Final Round.

The team, consisting of Vikka Arevalo, Hannah Canda, and Krishna Sangani, competed in the Data Visualization and Dashboarding Track of the competition.

Their entry showcased exceptional talent and creativity, addressing real-world challenges through data visualization and innovative solutions.

The BPI DATA Wave is a nationwide competition aimed at identifying top data talent in the Philippines, focusing on harnessing the power of data and artificial intelligence.

This year’s competition, hosted by Eskwelabs and BPI, centered on the theme “Data-Driven and AI-Powered Solutions for MSMEs: Fueling Growth with Innovation.”

Participants tackled challenges like leveraging data insights to drive growth for micro, small, and medium enterprises and using AI to enable smarter decision-making for these businesses.
