THE TARLAC State University launched its “Career Fair 2022” this week to establish linkages to different industries and create employment opportunities for graduating students and alumni.

Themed “Point Your Search in the Right Direction: TSUians Career Ready,” the hybrid two-day career fair was organized by the Career Education and Job Placement Services led by Dr. Niña C. Garcia.

The event is in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment-Tarlac and Public Employment Service Office)-Tarlac.

Nearby industry partners graced the first day of the activity, while the second day will be held online for companies who cannot join onsite.

University President Dr. Arnold Velasco thanked the industry partners for their participation as well as the students’ enthusiasm to join the workforce.

“We organized this event to be an opportunity for you [to land] your desired job. We are confident that you have the potential skills na makikita ng ating mga esteemed companies that are here with us this morning. This is our desire – to hone them to be ready for the job that they are supposed to be applying [for] this morning,” he said.

“And we can assure you, sa ating mga companies that are here with us, that you will not regret accepting our graduates. To our applicants, be confident. Ipakita natin kung gaano ka-competent ang TSU graduates,” he added.
