THE SULTAN Kudarat State University – Graduate School has received a grant from Nestle Philippines for a research project.

SKSU’s Graduate School is the first in Mindanao to receive a thesis and dissertation assistance.

Seven students taking Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Science will be given P250,000 for their research on coffee production and technology.

SKSU officials and faculty members will also be tapped to improve the project.

Sultan Kudarat is a big producer of coffee.

“This project was the prime move of Nestle Philippines to sustain coffee production and technology in the province,” SKSU said.
