A GRADE 12 student of the St. Scholastica’s College of Manila won major awards in the World Grand Prix International Music Contest 2023 Season 4.

Gabrielle Robyn Iroy secured first prize in the Romantic A category.

She also won second prize in the Young Artist category and was among the recipients of the Excellent Musicality Award.

The World Grand Prix International Music Contest is an online competition for instrumentalists, composers, conductors, and chamber musicians.

Iroy is currently studying the violin under the Philippine Research for Developing Instrumental
Soloists of the School of Music.

The school commended the student for her achievements.

“Your exceptional accomplishments not only highlight your musical brilliance but also fill the entire Scholastican community with immense pride in recognizing your remarkable talent,” it wrote on Facebook.
