AN incubatee of Samar State University Technology Business Incubator Local Alliance of Marine-Based Businesses and Food Technology was hailed as the Grand Winner in the Global Tech Innovator Pitching Competition.

The university was recognized for its mobile application called “Peddlr.”

Being an intelligent Point of Sale application that creates shareable payment links, escrow links, and e-store links, the software makes it simple to conduct business online by managing inventories and bookkeeping.

With this feat, SSU will represent the Philippines at the Global competition in Lisbon, Portugal come November.

The competition was one of the highlights of the Innovation Summit 2023 organized by the KPMG Philippines.

It showcased local start-ups and emerging technology players to potential local and international investors.
