THE SOUTHERN Leyte State University has resumed face-to-face learning after two years of distance classes.
Second and third year students as well as graduating students taking industrial technology, food technology, engineering, hotel management and tourism were the first to be given priority on Monday.
In-person learning in SLSU was delayed because of the onslaught of Typhoon Odette in the province.
The Commission on Higher Education said that schools opting to hold classes must have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted facilities and approval from the concerned government agencies.
The Inter-Agency Task Force Against Covid19 said that schools under Alert Levels 1, 2, and 3 can resume in-person learning subject to regulations.
