SMART TVs INSTALLED AS NIPSC MODERNIZES TEACHING METHOD
THE NORTHERN Iloilo Polytechnic State College-Victorino Salcedo campus decided to modernize its teaching methods in preparation for the limited face-to-face classes.
In an announcement on Facebook, NIPSC-VSC Office of the Publications campus said it purchased 21 Smart Televisions which will be installed at its classrooms.
Twenty of those are 55 inch TVs and will be placed at the campus’ L-building, while the lone 75-inches TV will be installed at the conference hall and will be connected to the internet through LAN Cables.
Chalkboards were also removed in the classrooms and replaced with whiteboards.
“This trivial yet significant step proves the college is now ready to bid goodbye to the traditional talk-and-chalk method and embrace technology-aided-instruction,” the campus said.
The modernization of the equipment is also part of the campus’ preparation for the virtual validation of NIPSC’s university status, it added.
