SIQUIJOR STATE COLLEGE PARTNERS WITH OWWA TO GIVE CASH GRANT TO CHILDREN OF OFWs
THE SIQUIJOR State College partnered with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration to give cash grants to children of overseas Filipino workers who enrolled for school year 2020-2021.
The school said four slots are open for its education for development scholarship program while 12 slots remain for its OFW dependent scholarship program.
Beneficiaries of the scholarship program should be aged 18 to 21 and their parents should be active OWWA members.
Students can get a total of P60,000 per school year if they pass the qualifying exam and are part of the top 400.
The scholarship is open for incoming freshmen and currently enrolled students of the SSC.
