SAMAR STATE U EARNS 3-STAR RATING IN QS
THE SAMAR State University earned a three-star rating in the Quacquarelli Symonds, a London-based independent compiler of the World University Rankings.
A three-star university means that it is nationally recognized and may have begun to earn global acknowledgment. Also, its graduates are appealing to employers.
SSU got five stars in academic development, social responsibility and employability.
The university was also rated on the following criteria: teaching (four stars); inclusiveness (four stars); facilities (four stars); and special criteria (three stars).
QS Star is a rating system that provides a detailed look at an institution. Students can use it as a basis in identifying which universities are the best in terms of research, teaching, academic development, employability, internationalization, facilities, among others.
After the assessment, universities are awarded with an overall star result which ranges from 0 to 5+ stars, depending on the number of points achieved from the evaluation.
