QUEZON SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL SUSPENDS CLASSES

/ 3 November 2020

THE QUEZON Science High School suspended classes because of the power interruptions caused by Typhoon Rolly.

The school’s officer-in-charge and director, Carla Carandang, announced the suspension of synchronous and asynchronous classes from November 3-6.

Typhoon Rolly battered Bicol and Southern Luzon on Sunday, leaving extensive damage in several provinces.

The most powerful typhoon worldwide this year, Rolly damaged 90 percent of infrastructure projects in Catanduanes where it first made landfall.

The typhoon’s ferocious winds and rain toppled power and communication lines, leaving many towns without electricity and phone signals.

It has left at least 16 people dead in Bicol region, 10 were from Albay and six were from Catanduanes.
