PUP SUSPENDS CLASSES FOR ELECTIONS
THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines has suspended classes from May 7 to 9 to give way to the elections.
The move was in response to the appeal of student councils to suspend classes to help students prepare for their pre-election activities.
The break will also help students decide on who to vote for the top positions.
The suspension covers the lower high school up to the graduate school, college of law, open university system, and undergraduate programs.
“We encourage the PUP community to use this time to reflect on our choices, do our research, and take an active role in ensuring a fair and peaceful national election,” PUP said in a statement.
“Make your vote count, Sinta,” it added.
