STUDENTS of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines participated in the mock elections organized by the Commission on Elections on Saturday, January 25.

The students tested voting with sample ballots and the new automated counting machine that will be used in the upcoming election.

A workshop was also conducted to educate students on the essentials of voting.

Earlier, Comelec conducted voter education in schools nationwide, including those in Cebu and Camiguin, to inform students about their right to vote and the responsibilities that come with it.

Comelec also held lectures on “Voter’s Rights and Responsibilities” at Cebu Institute of Technology University and Camiguin Polytechnic State College.
