/ 24 February 2025

THE Polytechnic University of the Philippines has partnered with PAMA Foundation Inc. to provide scholarship assistance to underprivileged but deserving students.

The scholarship is open to students pursuing BS Management, Accounting, or Financial Management at PUP.

“This partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering the holistic development of PUP students,” the university stated.

“It reflects the foundation’s belief in the university’s mission to nurture excellence and service among its scholars, contributing to PUP’s vision of becoming a Leading Comprehensive Polytechnic University in Asia,” it added.

Each scholar will receive ₱20,000 per academic year to cover expenses such as food, transportation, books, uniforms, supplies, and thesis-related costs.

At least five third- or fourth-year students will be selected based on academic performance, financial need, and other qualifications.

The Memorandum of Agreement signing was attended by key officials, including Prof. Tomas O. Testor, PUP Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, and Dr. Lolita Tang, President and Chairperson of PAMA Foundation Inc., and a PUP alumna.
