PUP LAW TO OFFER ADVANCE SUBJECTS FOR FRESHMEN
THE POLYTECHNIC University of the Philippines’ College of Law will only offer advance subjects to freshmen students for the second semester.
The Office of the Dean said that open section subjects will not be available for first year students.
“We would like you to understand our decision not to offer open section subjects. Instead, we would allow you to take advantage of the relaxation of the rules on pre-requisites and enroll the advanced subjects this semester,” it said.
“We would like you to understand that this decision is the product of an administrative deliberation with a focus on the future effects of this policy in your journey to become lawyers,” it added.
The pandemic prompted the university to push academic institutions to “take measures not taken before.”
The college’s enrollment schedule will be posted in PUP Law Facebook page.
