FOUR graduates of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines were among the topnotchers of the November and December 2023 Certified Tax Technicians Exams.

Edgardo Pagnanawon ranked first with a rating of 93 percent, while Pamela Suson of PUP Bataan secured fourth place with a score of 88 percent.

Joberth Lorenzo and Hazelle Ann Kristine Ariola got a score of 86 percent to share sixth spot.

“Pagbati po sa lahat ng nakapasa sa Certified Tax Technicians Exams, lalong-lalo na sa ating mgatopnotchers na sina Edgardo Pagnanawon, Pamela Suson, Joberth Lorenzo, and Hazelle Ann Kristine Ariolo,” PUP President Dr. Manuel Muhi said.

“Ang lahat po ng mga board passers at topnotchers ay nagbigay ng karangalan sa PUP. Hangad ko ang tagumpay ng bawat isa sa inyo. Maraming salamat po!” he added.

Meanwhile, PUP Bataan garnered a 100 percent passing rate in the exam.

Given by the Philippine Association of Certified Tax Technicians, Inc., the exams were held last November and December 2023 nationwide.

Out of 1,481 examinees, 625 passed the exams, and 392 were awarded with a Diploma in Taxation.
