THE Institute of Continuing Professional Development of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines received accreditation as a Naturopathy Center from the Department of Health-Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care.

With this distinction, PUP-ICPD Naturopathy Center is now authorized to offer a range of services and training programs related to naturopathy.

Naturopathy is a holistic approach “to healthcare that emphasizes the body’s inherent ability to heal itself, contributing to the growing acceptance and integration of traditional and alternative healthcare practices in the country.”

DOH-PITAHC National Certification Committee for Naturopathy officially accredited PUP during its deliberation earlier this month.

“The recognition shows PUP-ICPD’s dedication to providing high-quality education and training in the field of naturopathy and its commitment to meeting the stringent standards set forth by DOH-PITAHC for Naturopathy Centers,” PUP said.

“This also strengthens the institution’s position as a leading provider of continuing professional development programs in the Philippines,” it added.

“This accomplishment is also testament to the hard work and dedication of the PUP-ICPD team, as well as the university’s commitment to promoting health and wellness through diverse and innovative approaches,” the school said.
