A GRADUATE of Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila and West Visayas State University La Paz topped the Nursing Licensure Examination given this month.

Aristotle Calayan Castronuevo of PLM and Cris Vinz Corpuz Tomboc of WVSU led the successful examinees with a rating of 91 percent.

The Professional Regulation Commission said 25,761 out of 32,203 passed the exam.

Carl Justine Talavera Pantig of the University of the Assumption placed second with a rate of 90.80 percent.

With a score of 90.60 percent, Alecks Hans Ison of the University of Santo Tomas and Dusty Tanghin Kawi of the Benguet State University La Trinidad secured the third spot.

Twenty-seven schools were named top-performing schools for having at least 50 or more examinees and having at least 85% passing percentage.
