AROUND 196 employees and faculty members of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila including selected family members were able to get their second dose of Covid19 vaccines.

The vaccination drive was held on August 5 at the PLM University Activity Center through the assistance of the city government of Manila, according to the university.

“We would like to thank Mayor Isko Moreno and his office for continuously providing assistance to the city, especially now that we are faced with another Covid variant,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.

All of the vaccine recipients got their first inoculation last July 8.

Leyco said the university also conducted general assembly and webinars to keep everyone updated on the status of the ongoing pandemic.

He also urged everyone to take whatever vaccine is available in order to get protection against severe Covid19 symptoms.

“Let us not be discouraged and continue the fight against the dreadful Covid19 virus by getting ourselves vaccinated the soonest,” Leyco said.
