PERSONNEL of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila have received their Covid19 booster shots.

The university said 196 employees and their dependents were inoculated during the vaccination activity held in campus.

The University Activity Center was converted into a temporary vaccination site.

“PLM continues to promote the vaccination of all eligible faculty, staff, students, and their kin as the country charts its path towards the so-called New Normal. Science has proven that vaccines are safe and effective in preventing severe Covid19 symptoms, hospitalization, and death,” University President Emmanuel Leyco said.

Strict health protocols were observed at the venue. An ambulance was on standby in case any vaccine recipient experienced adverse side effects.
