THE PAMANTASAN ng Lungsod ng Maynila on Tuesday announced that it accepted over 4,000 freshmen for Academic Year  2021-2022.

The school said that 55,000 students applied but only 13,500 were qualified to take the online admission test.

The school conducted a two-hour written examination administered through online video-conferencing rooms because of the pandemic.

“The exam results as well as high school grades were used as basis to evaluate if a student is qualified for admission to PLM,” the school said.

It added that nearly 60 percent of the successful applicants are residents of Manila.

The confirmation of slots will start on June 11 until June 25.

“Applicants whose degrees were tagged as ‘for advising’ will receive an email detailing the next steps on how they can choose a degree program,” it said.
