PANGASINAN STATE U RECEIVES COPC FOR 16 PROGRAMS
THE PANGASINAN State University has received 16 certificates of program compliance from the Commission on Higher Education.
The 16 degree programs are offered in PSU campuses in Lingayen, Bayambang, Urdaneta, Binmaley, and Sta. Maria.
The university said that it secured certificates for 50 programs but only 16 were awarded first.
A COPC is a recognition that is awarded to degree programs to certify that they are fully compliant with the policies and standards set by CHED.
If a program was not able to secure a COPC within two years, it will be discontinued.
“The awards and recognitions that a university has received in the past is a good indicator of its quality and prestige,” PSU said as posted on its website.
“Through this certificate compliance, PSU ensures that it is always in line with the guidelines of the Commission on Higher Education to provide our students with a quality and excellent education,” it added.
