PALAWAN STATE U SUSPENDS FACE-TO-FACE TRANSACTIONS

THE PALAWAN State University suspended face-to-face transactions inside the campus and ordered its employees to work from home after one personnel was exposed to a Covid19 patient.

The university said officials are doing contact tracing in its main campus and Manalo campus in Puerto Princesa City. It will last until February 20.

All employees were directed to adopt a work-from-home arrangement until further notice.

“Heads of colleges, units and offices shall discuss the work schedule of their staff members, including Contract of Service/Job Order workers who shall submit a weekly accomplishment report to their supervisors as a basis for periodic monitoring of their performance during the period of suspension of in-person reporting,” the university said.

However, employees with official concerns may be allowed to work in their respective offices upon the recommendation of their unit head and clearance from the University Covid19 Local Task Force, provided that minimum health protocols are strictly followed.
