PALAWAN STATE U SUSPENDS CLASSES IN 2 CAMPUSES

/ 23 February 2021

THE PALAWAN State University suspended classes in two of its campuses to allow disinfection operations.

The suspension covers classes in all levels, including graduate and law school, in its main and Manolo campuses from February 20 until March 6, 2021.

“Due to the scheduled decontamination activities in these campuses and to arrest the potential exposure of our faculty, staff, and students to Covid19 virus, the said suspension of classes covers online & blended learning modalities,” PSU said on Facebook.

Campus employees will observe a work-from-home setup until the suspension is lifted.

“While contact tracing is still ongoing and pursuant to PPC-IATF Against Covid19 Reso. No 26, s. 2021 dated 19 February 2021, all PSU personnel assigned in these campuses are advised to strictly observe home quarantine during the period of suspension herein stated,” the school said.

The PSU asked for public understanding and advised its community to follow its official pages for further information.
