OUR Lady of Fatima University is conducting a pre-boarding week for senior high school students before classes open on September 1.

The pre-boarding week will help SHS students adjust to the new normal way of education and pave the way for a smooth implementation of flexible learning as classes begin next week, OLFU posted on social media.

“Think of pre-boarding week as a technical rehearsal. It is the time to rehearse, make mistakes and learn from them, tweak, form bonds with others and gain confidence, with the goal of gaining a smooth flow by the first day of formal classes,” OLFU said.

The pre-boarding week is also an opportunity for the students to meet their teachers, make friends, and ask questions.

During day one, OLFU had a “Technical Run-Through of Canvas Functionalities” and course orientation. The second day was a “Meet-and-Greet with Teachers” followed by an open forum. On day three, OLFU urged its students to chat their queries.
