NWSU TO START F2F CLASSES IN SEPTEMBER

/ 9 August 2022

THE NORTHWEST Samar State University will hold limited face-to-face classes starting September this year.

NWSU said that the Board of Regents already approved the measure seen to help with the resumption of in-person learning in the university.

The university said that consultations with local stakeholders are ongoing to sort out some issues before classes start.

This includes the issuance of the safety seal certification from the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

The university is currently implementing purely online classes through synchronous and asynchronous methods.

The Commission on Higher Education said that schools wanting to hold in-person classes must have the approval of local government units, high vaccination rate, and retrofitted facilities.
