MORE UP DILIMAN STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS RESIGN

FOUR members of the University Student Council of the University of the Philippines Diliman tendered their resignation on Monday, October 5, 2020, citing personal reasons.

Representatives Lee Alfonso Apostol, Izabelle Dolores, Audrey Rendora and Hazel Anne Gil said they cannot continue with the holdover term anymore.

In a statement, the USC said it will coordinate with the student councils of the UPD College of Architecture, Diliman Program in Pampanga and Olongapo, UPD College of Fine Arts and UP College of Science in finding other students who will occupy the vacated seats.

Previously, Vice Chairman Tierone Santos resigned from his post after 10 of the 13 council members who voted for him in the USC general assembly withdrew their vote.

Santos got 13 out of 23 votes.

He also cited personal reasons when he quit his post.
