/ 31 December 2024

TEN second-year education students from the College of Teacher Education at Mariano Marcos State University were awarded financial assistance through the Albarracín Scholarship.

The scholarship recipients, majoring in Science, Math, or English, will receive P7,500 for the first semester, totaling P15,000 for the academic year. To maintain the scholarship, students must sustain a General Weighted Average of 2.50 or higher.

MMSU OIC-President Prima Fe R. Franco, represented by Vice President for Planning and Strategic Foresight Virgilio Julius Manzano Jr., praised the scholars’ achievement and encouraged them to focus on their studies and personal growth.

Established by philanthropists Magdaleno and Trinidad Albarracín, the Albarracín Scholarship Program has supported deserving students since its inception. In previous years, two batches of CTE students received one-time financial assistance of P5,000 each.
