MAINIT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LAUNCHES ‘HATID MODYUL PROGRAM’
TO ENSURE the delivery of quality education amid the pandemic, the Mainit Elementary School in Davao Oriental has launched its Hatid Modyul program.
Noriel Moca, school head of MES, said the program does not only amplify learning but aims to reach out to the community.
The program will help parents to continue their livelihood and relieve them of the burden of going to schools to pick up their children’s learning materials.
“Our program is also one way of helping the parents while their children learn in their homes legitimately since most parents are farm workers and are away from home the entire day,” Moca added.
Under Hatid Modyul, teachers will deliver modules in the homes of the students every Monday. It is also a way to meet learners so they could clarify lessons they deem confusing.
The conduct of reading activities is also part of the program.
Parents lauded the initiative and thanked the teachers of MES for their service.
