LAS PIÑAS NATIONAL SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETES RENOVATION OF SPORTS FACILITY
THE Las Piñas National Science High School has completed the renovation of its sports facilities.
The school said it will use green technology for its sustainable sports program.
The renovation of the facilities was done in partnership with Dow Philippines and the Philippine Business for Social Progress.
Dow President Jonathan Penrice said that the facilities will be environmentally-friendly as it will be using “green technology.”
“We used sustainable solutions to renovate school facilities such as running track, badminton court, and multi-purpose playgrounds using green technology with our Voramer technology, an environmentally-friendly binder solution that is very low in volatile organic compounds,” he said.
Dow used Fastrack to mark lanes.
“Voramer PU binders provide durability, safe and environment-friendly surfaces, while Fastrack technology used for lane marking is highly visible, long-lasting markings that can withstand punishing weather and traffic conditions while reducing volatile organic compound emissions toxic to humans,” Penrice said.
