IACADEMY STUDENTS GET THREE-DAY ACADEMIC BREAK
THE IACADEMY will give its senior high school and college students a three-day break after months of online learning amid the pandemic.
The Makati-based school said that all tasks in synchronous and asynchronous sessions will be suspended.
“SHS and College announce TIME OUT. There will be no synchronous classes or new school work deadlines on the following dates, SHS: Nov. 3 to 6 and UG/College: Oct. 30 to Nov. 2,” the school said on Facebook.
“Please use this time, Game Changers, to attend to your needs and take care of your physical and mental health. We hope that everyone will have a great short responsible break and be ready to face and achieve your GOALs again,” it added.
The school also stressed that the deadlines of the assignments, which fall on the dates of the break, will be adjusted to a later date.
The students lauded the announcement saying they “needed it as online classes are already draining them.”
