iACADEMY SCHOOL OF COMPUTING TOPS HUAWEI ICT TILT
iACADEMY took pride in the victory of the School of Computing in the Huawei ICT Competition–Computing Track, where it beat other delegates in the Asia Pacific region.
The team was composed of Nicholas Barilea, Ryan Caezar Itang, Justine Benedict Umali, and coach Jayson Viernes.
The win further underlines iACADEMY’s identity as an incubator of technological learning brilliance and places, a glaring spotlight on the amazing talents and expertise the institute fosters.
The Huawei ICT Competition is a popular stage to cultivate skills in information and communication technology based on collaboration, innovation, and brilliance.
During the competition against representatives of the most respected institutions from the whole Asia Pacific region, the iACADEMY School of Computing demonstrated exceptional skills, creativity, and determination and attained the first place in the Computing track.

The Huawei ICT Competition, Computing Track, involved fields such as network technology, cloud computing, artificial Intelligence, etc.
The achievement on the regional phase acknowledges the hard work and abilities of this year’s School of Computing team.
“We are incredibly proud of the School of Computing team’s victory,” stated Francisco Napalit, the Dean of the School of Computing. “This victory is a testimonial to the professionalism of our students and highlights iACADEMY’s dedication to promoting the ICT field.”
As champions of the Huawei ICT Competition-Computing Track, iACADEMY’s School of Computing team will represent the Philippines in the upcoming awarding ceremony in Indonesia on April 18.
Subsequently, it will compete against country representatives on a global scale in China on May 20, showcasing their skills and knowledge on an international platform.
