HALF OF PUP ACCOUNTANCY STUDENTS WILL NOT GRADUATE
MORE than half of the accountancy students at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines will not be able to graduate.
The face-to-face graduation will be on September 16, 2022.
Political group Samasa PUP said that students with failing evaluation exams will be covered by the university’s retention policy.
Samasa said that 367 of the 789 4th year accountancy students will not be able to graduate.
The College of Accountancy and Finance Student Council requested a dialogue with university officials to discuss the graduation of CAF students, lack of learning materials, “ineffective” teaching practices, and the non-attendance of professors during class hours.
The meeting is set for August 2.
