FEU RECEIVES SECOND GOLDEN AWARD FOR CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
THE Far Eastern University was again recognized as a top-performing publicly-listed company by the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard.
The Institute of Corporate Directors awarded the university with its second Two Golden Arrow trophy during the recently concluded ACGS Recognition Ceremony.
FEU President Dr. Michael Alba received the award on behalf of the university.
“FEU received a similar award in 2019 and was the only educational institution to be recognized for its corporate governance efforts,” the school said.
The Golden Arrow is given to publicly listed firms that show exemplary work in promoting the basic principles of corporate governance such as responsibility, accountability, awareness, impartiality, and transparency.
ACGS assesses the state of corporate governance among participating ASEAN countries, including the Philippines.
It provides companies with a scorecard based on international best practices and local regulations, with the goal of promoting transparency, accountability and integrity among publicly listed companies.
