DE LA SALLE University students emerged as the champions of the Global Asia Insurance Partnership Case Competition held recently in Singapore.

Louie Coderes, Ysa Leachon, and Jean Lenard Rosete bested 110 teams across Asia to claim the title.

“Our team shone brightly among the 11 finalists, including strong contenders from Singapore (NUS, NTU, SIM, SMU), Indonesia (UGM, UI), Thailand (Chula), Vietnam (UEH), and the Philippines (DLSU). Special congratulations also to the 1st runner-up from UGM and the 2nd runner-up from NTU,” DLSU said.

“Your hard work, dedication, and innovative approach have brought immense pride to our university,” it added.

Dr. Arnel Uy and Nino Datu served as the team’s supervisors.

The competition was organized by the Global Asia Insurance Partnership and Nanyang Technological University.

It is open to university, junior college, and polytechnic students in Singapore, as well as students from selected universities across ASEAN.

It aims to provide a platform for students to explore the challenges faced by the insurance industry and to propose AI-driven solutions.
