DLSU-D HOSTS JAPANESE STUDENTS
THE De La Salle University-Dasmariñas is hosting students from Teikyo University of Japan who are taking Language Proficiency Program-English for International Communication.
The 12-week program aims to elevate the students’ English language skills for effective international communication while enhancing their intercultural competencies.
The Japanese students will stay in the Philippines until December 10.
“The English language serves as a bridge for interlingual and intercultural communication. It is an essential tool in both education and future professions,” LLC Director Angeline Cayago said.
“Our students need to enhance their language competencies, and DLSU-D’s EIC Program is purposefully designed to meet this need,” she added.
Through the program, students will have the opportunity to improve their proficiency in interpersonal, academic, workplace, and intercultural communication skills.
They can also improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities.
