THE MOUNTAIN Province State Polytechnic College named Dr. Edgar G. Cue as its new president on Friday.

Cue was elected unanimously by the MPSPC Board of Trustees, making him the fifth president of the school.

A resolution was also passed by the BOT following Cue’s appointment, declaring him as the official head of the university.

Cue’s term will start on September 23, 2022 and will last until September 22, 2026, subject to reappointment as stated in the guidelines of the Commission on Higher Education.

The new president was sworn in at the CHED Central Office at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City

Cue will replace CHED Regional Director Dr. Demeterio Anduyan, Jr. after sitting as Officer-in-Charge of MPSPC since August, following the completion of past president Dr. Rexton F. Chakas’s tenure.
