CHED ALLOWS MPSPC TO CONDUCT IN-PERSON CLASSES
THE COMMISSION on Higher Education has allowed the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College to hold limited face-to-face classes.
The school received its certificate of authority to conduct in-person classes after complying with the requirements set by CHED and the Department of Health.
The certificate will be effective until June 30, 2022.
The MPSPC in January said that it is prepared to conduct in-person learning in the second semester of Academic Year 2021-2022.
The CHED said that the authority to hold in-person classes will be revoked if the school “fails to maintain and comply with the rules and regulations state in the said Joint Circular pertaining to limited face-to-face classes.”
For schools to be allowed to hold physical classes, they must have a high vaccination rate, approval from the concerned local government unit, and retrofitted classrooms.
