CHED ACCREDITS 9 BIPSU PROGRAMS
THE BILIRAN Province State University has received accreditation for its nine programs from the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 8.
BiPSU was granted Certificate of Program Compliance for all nine programs after a two-day on-site validation, including the monitoring of the conduct of face-to-face classes last Friday.
These programs are Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Physical Education, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, Bachelor of Special Needs Education, and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education.
A CoPC is granted to programs offered by state universities that are compliant with the standards set by CHED.
CHED RO8 Regional Director Dr. Maximo Aljibe said that BiPSU has the highest CoPC grants among SUCs that they visited and verified on-site.
BiPSU Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office Director Carlito Cabas Jr. said that 66 percent of the university’s programs is in its campuses in Naval and Biliran, Biliran.
