CENTRAL MINDANAO U HOSTS PH-AUSTRALIA FRIENDSHIP CARAVAN

/ 5 May 2021

THE CENTRAL Mindanao University recently hosted two events to promote friendship and “a greener place.”

CMU hosted the Philippines-Australia Friendship Caravan 2021 and the Botanical Garden to mark 75 years of friendship between Australia and the Philippines.

The event had the theme “Let’s Make our Community – and – our World – a Greener Place.”

The event aimed to unite all alumni in the province that studied in various universities in Australia.

These alumni planted trees at the foot of Mt. Musuan.

Australian Ambassador SJ Robinson said that this year was “very special” to them.

“We talked about the 75th anniversary of our bilateral relationship, and it means a great deal to Australia because we’ve been in the Philippines as partners for a long time,” he said.
