CATSU GEARS UP FOR F2F CLASSES WITH 30% OF STUDENT POPULATION VACCINATED
THE CATANDUANES State University vaccinated 30 percent of its student population as part of the initiative to go back to face-to-face mode of learning.
In an announcement made Saturday, CatSU said 3,320 of its 11,062 students already received their vaccines which started this month.
The university said it aims to vaccinate its entire student population to help protect against the spread of Covid19 in its campus.
It added the move is also in relation to its goal to receive the nod of the Commission on Higher Education to conduct physical classes.
CHED said schools must have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted classrooms, and approval from the respective local government unit for the conduct of face-to-face classes.
Meanwhile, 95 percent of permanent employees and 91.11 percent of the contractual workers of the university are already fully vaccinated.
