THE BILIRAN Province State University will release a total of P24 million to scholars under the Tertiary Education Subsidy and Tulong-Dunong Program of the Commission on Higher Education for the 1st semester of Academic Year 2021-2022.

The funds are sourced under Republic Act 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education law.

The 438 students who qualified for the TES program will receive P20,000 each for a total of P8,760,000.

Meanwhile, 2,019 TED scholars will each receive P7,500 for a total of P15,142,800.

For the second semester of 2020-2021, 105 TDP-TES scholars will receive P787,500.

The next batch of 105 grantees are waiting for the release of their allowance.
