THE BILIRAN Province State University submitted seven programs for approval to the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines.

These programs are nursing, economics, criminology, communication, tourism, hospitality management and elementary education.

The university said that the accreditation is part of its quest to ensure quality education.

BiPSU President Vincenso Canezo, Jr. is optimistic that the results will be favorable to the university.

“I am confident that with the activities that we successfully conducted and the milestones that we have achieved, we will once again emerge victorious in this undertaking,” Canezo said.

BiPSU said that the seven programs were validated for Level 3 Phase 2 on April 27 to April 29 by the AACUP.

Some of the accreditors are from higher educational institutions in the country. The presidents of the Bulacan State University and Laguna State Polytechnic University sat as coordinators.
