ATENEO SHS STUDENTS WIN IN STEM RESEARCH CONFERENCE
SENIOR high school students from the Ateneo de Manila University won the Best Presenter Award at the AgHamon 2023 hosted by St. Theresa’s College Quezon City.
The group was composed of Grade 12 students Eeza Sevilla Ranze Gonzales, Aki Gulmatico, MJ Odsinada and Sean Ramirez.
They were recognized for their research work titled “Care to Share: The Design of an App to Help QC Residents Find an Available Hospital Near Them.”
The students developed a mobile application with one interface for doctors and another for patients so that data on hospital availability and patient needs could be merged seamlessly and on-the-go.
“While the app was designed to respond to the emergency needs of patients and hospital administrators in a pandemic situation, it can also be used to modernize hospital record-keeping and improve the hospital’s overall efficiency,” ADMU-SHS said.
