THE ATENEO de Manila University will host at least 72 International Exchange Students for the second semester of Academic Year 2022-2023 as part of its efforts to boost its internalization programs.
ADMU said the community welcomed the foreign students through an onsite orientation seminar inside the campus earlier this month.
Of the 72 IXS, 66 are undergraduates, three are graduate students, and three are visiting research students.
Discussed during the seminar were study permit and visa requirements, enrollment guidelines, university policies, student and security services and health policies.
“They come from 31 partner universities from 12 countries — Australia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom,” it added.
“The two-day onsite OrSem was organized by OIR, in partnership with the Ateneo Student Exchange Council, OIR’s partner student arm,” ADMU said.
The IXS attended their first day of classes last January 16, 2022. They will be a part of the Ateneo community from January to May 2023.
