ADAMSON U SUSPENDS CLASSES IN SUPPPORT OF NATIONAL VAX DRIVE
THE ADAMSON University postponed classes and office work in light of the national vaccination drive against Covid19 from November 29 to December 1.
“The administration of Adamson University decided to declare the suspension of classes on the said dates to support the government’s vaccination drive and encourage our students to get vaccinated,” the school said in a memorandum.
“We are advising all students to go for their vaccination during the said period. Faculty members and employees are encouraged to take advantage of the said long weekend to be vaccinated too,” it added.
Although classes were suspended, AdU reminded teachers to ensure that the delivery of lessons and learning outcomes will not be affected.
Employees, on the other hand, were required to report to work on December 1 in preparation for ISO and PACUCOA accreditation.
To boost the country’s inoculation program against Covid19, President Rodrigo Duterte signed Proclamation 1253 declaring a three-day national vaccination drive.
