THE NORTHERN Negros State College of Science and Technology welcomed the promotion of 85 of its faculty members.

The faculty members took their oath on Monday at the function room of SUNN Hotel at the NONESCOST Main Campus.

The college said the Department of Budget and Management Region VI informed it about the reclassification for the 8th Cycle Evaluation under the National Budget Circular No. 461.

Of the 85 promoted employees, two were named Professor V, eight were elevated to Associate Professor V, two Associate Professor IV, four Associate Professor III, one Associate Professor I, eight Assistant Professor V, 12 Assistant Professor IV, nine Assistant Professor III, eight Assistant Professor II, and 14 Assistant Professor I.

There were also eight Instructor III and eight Instructor II who were promoted.

NONESCOST President Dr. Renante Egcas urged other faculty members to obtain doctorate degrees in preparation for the next cycle evaluation.
